The car is also connected to several driver safety systems that will improve safety not only inside the car, but also for pedestrians. These include a new system of active pedestrian prevention, in which there is a combination of CCTV cameras, object recognition technology and front speakers. This concerns the problem with electric vehicles, which have a quiet power unit, which can complicate their operation.

APWS is combined with the new interactive lighting system Niro EV Concept, which offers users and pedestrians a very intuitive visual connection with the car.

Niro EV is powered by a lithium-polymer battery pack with a capacity of 64 kWh, in combination with a powerful electric motor with a power of 150 kW, which allows using 383 kilometers from one charge.

It also has a fast charging, allowing 185 kilometers of charge in just 30 minutes.

The car salon is minimalistic and has a lot of digital elements to improve user interaction with technology. The main color of the design is gray, there are silver and bronze elements.

The South Korean car manufacturer also said that by 2020 it is planned to bring a total of 16 "rosette" machines, including an electric vehicle with hydrogen fuel cells (FCEV) in 2020.Also, this strategy involves entering the market fully electric version of the Niro EV. Recall, today this model is available with a hybrid installation.
